Briefing for Employment Agencies

The Labour Department will organize a briefing for the employment agencies industry which you are cordially invited to attend. The contents of the briefing include the points-to-note and obligations relevant to the operation of employment agencies under Part XII of the Employment Ordinance, Employment Agency Regulations and the Code of Practice for Employment Agencies, as well as introducing the electronic Employment Agencies Services (e-EAS), including the use of digital signing for submission of various licence-related applications.
"iAM Smart" mobile app provides the one-stop personalised digital services platform, which enables users to log in and use online services by their personal mobile phone in a smart and convenient way. "iAM Smart" users could conduct authentication, digital signing and "e-ME" form-filling functions via "iAM Smart" mobile app or website services so that users could easily log in and use the "iAM Smart" enabled online services, among which digital signing is applicable for registered “iAM Smart+” account only.
To facilitate participants of the briefing, the Mobile Registration Team from “iAM Smart” will provide on-site service for registration / upgrade to “iAM Smart+” before and after each briefing session. Details are as follows:
For smooth registration, please prepare the required items of (1) Hong Kong Identity Card, (2) Personal mobile phone (enabled biometric authentication functions and downloaded “iAM Smart” App) and (3) Email address.
If you are interested to attend the briefing, please enrol on or before 17 August 2023 by any of the following ways:
- complete the attached reply slip and return it to our office (by fax: 2115 3756 or by email: ea-ee@labour.gov.hk); or
- send the enrolment information, including name of employment agency, name of participant(s) and contact means to our office by email direct.
