Briefing for Foreign Domestic Helpers on their Employment Rights

In order to enhance the awareness of foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) on their employment rights, the Labour Department (LD), will conduct a briefing for FDHs on 24 September 2023. LD has also invited representatives from the Equal Opportunities Commission to give our participants an overview of the anti-discrimination Ordinances in Hong Kong. The briefing will be conducted in three language groups viz. Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog and English in different venues. We sincerely invite all FDHs to join. Details of the briefing are as follows:
Interested FDHs may enrol on or before 20 September 2023 (Wednesday) by any of the following ways:
- Send the duly completed ENROLMENT FORM to the Foreign Domestic Helpers Division of LD by fax (Fax no.: 3101 0604) or email (Email address: fdh-enquiry@labour.gov.hk); or
- Send the required enrolment information, including your name, contact number and the group you wish to enrol in to us by email to fdh-enquiry@labour.gov.hk.
The event is free of charge. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrolment results will be announced by email or fax. For enquiries, you may contact us at 3582 8993.
