The Labour Department (“LD”) will organize a seminar for the employment agencies (“EAs”) industry. Apart from the points-to-note and obligations for operating an EA in Hong Kong, the seminar will also cover the below topics:

Introduction to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance	Representative(s) of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data
Brief on the Immigration Ordinance and relevant regulations, matters about visas for foreign domestic helpers, and “Build Safe Community”	Representative(s) of the Immigration Department

When operating the business, apart from the laws and regulations enforced by the LD, EAs must also observe other legislations which are considered most relevant to the operation of EAs. To promote understanding of relevant legislations and regulations, EA practitioners, including operators and employees, are cordially invited to attend the seminar. Details are as follows:
